What beautiful weather we are having to enjoy. Think the stuff I left in the garden is growing? Crazy, but they say it will be back to normal by the end of the week.

Friday night at the VRT they had a 70th birthday party for Rick Appleby. The place was packed with family and friends celebrating a surprise party for him.

Then on Saturday the Vermilion River Greens held their annual Shack Challenge. The golf course was filled for the tournament. It was a beautiful day to have the tournament. It couldn’t have been any better. First-place was the Parise Shack for the second year in a row. The Sieberg Team won the Longest Drive. The Blake Scofield Team won Longest Putt. Neumann Shack won the Closest To The Pin. Brandon Anderson’s Team won a Skin. The Buckaroo Shack won a Skin also. The Rack Shack beat the Dovetail Lodge. These are the original participants in the Shack Challenge 33 years ago.

VRT cribbage winner this week went to Nikki Vandervort.

That is it for this week. I think everyone was outside enjoying the beautiful weather. Can’t blame them, that’s where I was. Pretty soon the cold weather will be upon us, so enjoy and take advantage of this weather.
