Buyck News

We got another great week even though it was a little chilly. They predicted we would get frost, but we have still not had frost, which is nice. I have some peppers I would like to get mature. Let’s hope it will stay warmer for just a couple of weeks more.

Cribbage winner at the VRT was Nikki Johnson and high hand went to Mike Rylko with a 24.

The National Night Out group presented checks to Fire Department Chiefs Kathy Weiand of Buyck, as well as Steve Bergerson and Jeff Sanborn of Crane Lake. After the final count of what was raised, they both received $3,200. It is just amazing how much this community helps out these fire departments.

The local area has been buzzing with people even during the week. The businesses have been busy, which is really good. There are bear hunters around and I hear they are doing very well. So keep up the good work.

Lots of ATVs and side by sides have been buzzing around so I have to say I’m sure the businesses are very happy.

That is it for this week, so keep on smiling till next week and enjoy this nice warmer weather as long as we have it. If you would like to put anything in the paper, please just let me know.
