The Sept. 9 (Tuesday) 2 p.m. meeting of Finnish Americans and Friends at Grace Lutheran Church, 4010 9th Ave. W., Hibbing, will feature accomplished fiber artist Mary Erickson providing information and background on a well-known part of Finnish culture, loomed rugs.

Attendees are invited to share stories or examples that they may have. Please note that the meeting date is on the second Tuesday, rather than the usual first Tuesday. A coffee social is part of the program to which everyone is welcome.
