Join Northwoods Friends of the Arts and enjoy summer classes
Are you someone who loves art, appreciates creativity or simply believes in the power of community and fun? You don’t have to be an artist to support the arts—you just need to have a passion for making our world more colorful and inspiring.
The mission of Northwoods Friends of the Arts is to encourage the creation, display, performance, and appreciation of art while offering engaging educational opportunities for all ages.
NWFA offers art classes for all ages and abilities and is proud to be the presenting sponsor for Music in the Park, a fun-filled evening with local bands and performers each Wednesday at 6 p.m. at the gazebo in Cook City Park, S. River Street. For class details and a complete schedule of this summer’s musical performances, go to nwfamn.org, visit the gallery at 210 S. River Street, email nwfamn.org@gmail.com or call 218-780-7130.
NWFA believes supporting the arts should be FUN! Their lively and welcoming community brings “the ART of FUN” to everything they do — festivals, classes, performances, and more — all for the joy of the community and beyond.
There are levels of membership perfect for everyone. You can join as an Individual, Household, Business and more. All membership fees and donations are used to support NWFA and their Mission and are tax deductible.
