More than 500 students graduated from the University of North Dakota at Grand Forks during the school’s 104th Summer Commencement ceremony on Aug. 8 at the Chester Fritz Performing Arts Center on campus. Among the graduates was Alexander Thorne of Britt, who received a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Biomedical Engineering.
