PATRICIA LINDBERG

PATRICIA LINDBERG
Patricia Joan Lindberg, 92, of Virginia passed away Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Edgewood Vista in Virginia.
She was born on March 31, 1933 in Virginia to John and Agnes (Fredrickson) Crowley and graduated from the Roosevelt High School.
Pat married the love of her life, Lloyd (Swede) Lindberg, on August 17, 1950. Lloyd worked for the DWP Rail Road, as an operator, so their first home was in the Gheen train depot. It was an adjustment living in the depot with no bathroom, just an outhouse across the tracks. In 1959 they moved to the depot in Cook, with an indoor bathroom.
In 1966 they built their home in Wakemup Bay Village on Lake Vermilion. Pat loved her home on Lake Vermilion. They lived there for 50 years before moving to Washington Manor in Virginia. She loved living there and missed her apartment and friends when she recently had to move to Edgewood Vista Assisted Living.
Pat was a homemaker her entire life. In her earlier years she liked to knit, until her hands became too arthritic to knit anymore. She also loved to play bingo, frequently going to Fortune Bay when they were first open.
Pat is survived by one son, John (Mary) Lindberg; two daughters, Susan (August) Carstens and Sheila (Mark Perkio) Lindberg; five grandchildren, Trevor (Ann) Carstens, Carrie Carstens, Lloyd (Nicole) Lindberg, Hunter Lokken and Samuel Lokken; great-grandchildren, Meredith, Thomas, Rae, Courtney, Brett, Isaac, Liam, Robbie and Abbie.
Pat was preceded in death by her parents, John and Agnes Crowley; husband Lloyd Lindberg and a granddaughter, Sarah Carstens.
Private family graveside services will be held in the Cook Cemetery. Arrangements are with the Landmark Funeral Home in Virginia.
