The weather sure is hanging on and I can’t believe how nice this fall has been so far. I will take it as long as it lasts. I’ve been canning like crazy and more tomatoes coming out of my ears, but they are so sweet and delicious.

The Class of 1965 held their reunion at the VRT Thursday afternoon with 16 or more attending. They enjoyed a wonderful meal served by Nikki Johnson. I heard it was a great afternoon of visiting and catching up. A few of them who were there are Bucko, Beverly Holman and JoAnn Pohlman.

Over the weekend the Grouse Masters had a good turnout. Here are the results:

1st Place – Rob Rutar, Yvette Rutar, Tyae Pattenn – Score 64

2nd Place – Scotty Rutar, Patty Overbye, Brandon Anderson – Score 64

3rd Place – Ringer, Denny Jensen, Brandon Mihm – Score 66

Longest Putt – Yvette Rutar

Closest To The Pin – Yvette Rutar

That should be the last tournament of the season until next year. Vermilion River Greens is still open so there is time to get out there and enjoy some golf. The weather is supposed to be great all week until the possible rain this weekend. So grab those clubs and go enjoy the great fall weather we are having.

That will be it for this week. Keep smiling till next time.
