Buyck Fire Department has just started the Buyck Fire and Rescue Explorer Program. It’s designed for 14- to 18-year-olds interested in firefighting and rescue. As an Explorer, they will receive training in core areas like radio communications, fire prevention and safety, fire, rescue, and EMS education. They have one 17-year-old member already, and they look forward to working with the young members of the community.
