Join the Photographer’s Club at NWFA

Welcome to Allegra Dengler, a wildlife photographer from New York who is summering on Lake Vermilion! Northwoods Friends of the Arts is so pleased that Allegra wishes to begin a Photography Club at NWFA Gallery on Thursday, July 10, at 11 a.m. The meeting will be held in the Wolfe Den classroom at 210 S. River St. in Cook, NWFA Gallery adjacent to DreamWeaver Salon and Spa.

In Ms Dengler’s words, “Let’s get together to share ideas and challenges of photography. For the first meeting, let’s talk about wildlife photography. Bring a photo or two of yours that you’d like to talk about. Phone pictures are welcome. She is a member of the North American Nature Photography Association.

Congratulations to Allegra Dengler on her Lake Steward Award! Allegra is an avid bird watcher, a hobby enabled by the habitat surrounding her cabin and leading to the lake. Her family enjoys all that the lake and yard have to offer, while still maintaining the shoreline buffer of trees and bushes. Thank you for your stewardship of our beautiful lake!
