CARD OF THANKS

It feels like words aren’t enough of a thank you. My family and I are in complete awe of the support, goodwill and kindness that has flooded our community. With the help and generosity of friends, neighbors, acquaintances and even strangers, we are able to divert the distress of financial and physical burden while we learn to know and love what our family looks like now, and what is on the horizon.

I am so grateful to have so many lovely people to share my grief. As they say, “Many hands lighten the load.”

I specifically want to acknowledge the firefighters and first responders, many of whom sustained injuries. Their bravery, extraordinary and selfless service in reining in the destruction at the expense of their own mental and physical safety is admired daily.

It has been a turbulent few months and I am overwhelmed … not only by sadness and tasks and urgency, but also by gratitude. If I have not reached out personally, please know that you are absolutely in my thoughts and prayers and I consider myself beyond blessed to have so much love and support. Humbly in Christ,
